I had a lovely stay at The Townhouse Hotel. the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made my experience nice. The breakfast was a highlight with a good variety of fresh options to choose from. However, I did have a bit of a chilly room and the stairs were quite a workout. so I’d recommend requesting a lower room if that's a concern.

I had a fantastic stay at The Townhouse Hotel, with a warm welcome from the friendly staff right from the start. My room was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, featuring a spacious bathroom that was perfect for relaxation. The breakfast spread was another highlight, offering a variety of delicious options, though I did wish for heavier curtains to block out the morning light. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would definitely consider returning for another stay!

I had a lovely stay at The Townhouse Hotel, enjoying the charming decor and spacious room with a luxurious free-standing bath (perfect for Netflix!). The breakfast was good, featuring a great variety of breads and pastries. However, the hotel does show signs of aging in certain areas, and I noticed that some details, like the bathroom design, needed a bit of attention. Overall, it was a positive experience with friendly staff, but improvements could be made.

My room was clean and modern, featuring the largest bed ever and a fabulous free-standing bath in the window alcove. However, it felt a bit tired and could use a fresh coat of paint.

Breakfast was a highlight, with an abundance of fresh pastries and fruits available. However, I found it a bit disappointing that a cooked breakfast option was no longer available.

The hotel has unique charm in its common areas, though some aspects look scuffed and could benefit from a refurbish. Additionally, my bathroom's design posed a bit of a challenge with the layout.

My experience at The Townhouse Hotel had its ups and downs. The location was great, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, but the décor felt tired and mismatched. The staff were lovely, always eager to help, which made my stay more enjoyable. However, the amenities were lacking in some areas, and the breakfast left something to be desired.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in had charm, especially with the freestanding bath in the window alcove, but it was quite small and the shower design could use improvement. I also noticed some cleanliness issues, such as grime in the bathroom.
Service
8.0
The staff were all friendly and accommodating, from Harry's warm welcome to Sheila's personal touches. However, some minor oversights in service could be improved, like having more snack options available late at night.
Location

The hotel is situated in a quiet, tree-lined avenue in Gosforth, which is both peaceful and conveniently close to the city center.
Dining

Breakfast offered a decent selection but could be better in terms of freshness, as the cold hard-boiled eggs weren't very appetizing. The staff did try to provide a variety, but improvements are needed.
Facilities

While I appreciated the charming décor and ambience of the common areas, they showed some signs of wear and could use a refresh. Also, there was no printer available which was inconvenient.

My stay at The Townhouse Hotel was cozy, though a bit pricey considering certain shortcomings. The location was fantastic for my needs, right near some nice restaurants. I really loved the cleanliness and unique decor of the room, but I found some areas could use a little sprucing up. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but I'd wish for a better value for the price paid.

Rooms

The room I stayed in had great character and was beautifully decorated, but it felt a bit dark and cold. The spacious bathroom was a highlight, although the unusable bath was a letdown.
Service

The staff were welcoming and friendly, adding a personal touch to the stay. However, I noticed that the breakfast service could use some improvement, especially with dietary accommodations.
Location

The hotel is nestled on a quiet, leafy avenue which made for a peaceful stay, and it was super convenient with restaurants just a short walk away.
Dining

Breakfast offered a decent continental spread, but I was a bit bummed that they no longer serve cooked options. Fresh fruit was a nice plus.
Facilities

While the guesthouse had its charm, I felt there were a few facilities missing that would elevate the experience, particularly in terms of food service and room amenities.
